Miconex is a purpose-driven business that works with business communities in towns and cities to help drive local spend.
Through their Town and City Gift Cards and Downtown Gift Cards businesses, Miconex provides gift card programmes to 100+ towns and cities in the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada, e.g. see the Sheffield Gift Card in association with Sheffield BID (Business Improvement District).
Problem
Miconex is focussed on growing the number of business communities they are working with and helping get consumers engaged with programmes. That leaves limited time to go knocking on the doors of retailers to explain the benefits of town/city gift cards.
Solution
We found and connected with the relevant contacts at High Street brands as well as agencies that would work with Miconex on behalf of brands. This gave Miconex access to around 80 retailers to start discussions with, without Miconex having to shift their focus.
